Some of our Reviews

"We had a lovely stay in this centrally located old town house. The house is very tastefully decorated, well equipped, comfortable and very clean. It is really close to the harbour and we loved the flair of the old town. We certainly will be back."

"Wonderful location right in the heart of the old harbour. Loads of great restaurants and shopping all within a few seconds of walking from the house. If you would like a beach holiday coupled with the option of hundreds of great places to eat and drink away from the more touristy locations, then this place is perfect!"

The house comprises two floors with a small Venetian style
balcony to the first floor.

This house, located on the tiny street named Gavaladon, may be small but the traditional features found both inside and out more than make up for its size.

The house is situated in the very heart of the thriving Venetian Old Town of Chania. Just a minute by foot to the grand Venetian harbour front with it's lighthouse entrance, this area of the old town is enjoying a revival.  This is a house for couples that want to be right in the centre of the action. Outside your front door you will find traditional cafes, bars & tavernas on every street corner, mingling side by side with modern music bars and clothing boutiques.  All set among the stunning Venetian & Ottoman architecture of Chania's past.

Sifaka Street                    Gavaladon is located off Sifaka Street

The ground floor comprises a sitting area and dining area, along with a small but comprehensive kitchen with fridge, 2 ring hob, sink & modern electrical appliances.  The fully fitted modern bathroom with shower is also located downstairs.

Access to the first floor is via a traditional wooden staircase and the bedroom itself is also decorated in a traditional manner with wooden flooring & ceiling, furnished with traditional hand made Cretan furniture.

There is access to the first floor balcony through the two Venetian style windows and the pretty little balcony is large enough to sit on and relax with a drink after a day of sightseeing.
